Our Story

Gabby & Chris

Our story begins with a serendipitous cross between art, connection, and a speaking event. It all began when Gabby attended an art course and met Chris' cousin Sarah where they became friends. Later on, Chris' mother Carol happened to be selecting a speaker for the National League of American Pen Women and sought potential candidates through Sarah to speak on behalf of an art-themed event. In Gabby's professional art career, she often speaks at and attends different types of events. As luck would have it, or rather God's perfect planning and weaving, Sarah suggested Gabby as a speaker. Carol actually asked Chris if he wanted to attend that particular event because of his interest in art, to which he declined. Nevertheless, Chris came up in conversation between Sarah, Carol, Gabby, and Gabby's father Jose. At some point, Sarah suggested connecting Chris with Gabby if she was open to it. This led to Chris reaching out to ask Gabby for coffee and they hit it off right away.
